In addition to his law degree and bar exam, he obtained a postgraduate qualification as a specialist in European Union law at the Faculty of Law of Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) in 2012. He gained professional experience as an associate at an international law firm in Vienna, and at law firms with an international client base in Budapest and Győr. After graduating, he taught business law for several years at the Faculty of Law of Széchenyi István University. He has been an attorney since 2015, with experience gained primarily in civil litigation, startup and M&A transactions, and the long-term representation of a multinational company with an Austrian background.

dr. Ákos Kőhidi PhD, Dobos-Papp-Kőhidi Law Firm / Győr

He obtained his law degree in 2007 and his PhD in 2012 with a thesis on copyright and damages law. Since 2007 he has been a member of the Department of Civil Law and Civil Procedure at the Deák Ferenc Faculty of Law of Széchenyi István University in Győr, where he is currently an associate professor. Since 2015 he has been a member of the Hungarian Council of Copyright Experts. After passing the bar exam, he worked as an associate attorney in Budapest from 2014 to 2015 and now practises as an attorney in Győr.

dr. Dániel Schwartz, Attorney-at-Law, Head of Employment Law

He obtained his law degree from the Faculty of Law of Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) in 2021 and then joined our firm as a trainee lawyer. Born in Germany and a native German speaker, he regularly works with German-speaking clients. His main area of practice is employment law, where he advises companies and individuals and represents them in employment litigation. He also works in corporate and company law, construction and neighbour law disputes, and copyright, with a particular interest in music industry law.

dr. Péter Miklós LL.M., Data Protection Attorney

He is an attorney specialising in data protection and has been supporting our clients in complying with the GDPR and related legislation since 2017. He places particular emphasis on ensuring that his legal advice can be implemented efficiently in practice and actively assists clients in doing so. He obtained his law degree from the Faculty of Law of ELTE and works in Hungarian and English.

dr. Gábor P. Papp, Attorney-at-Law, Tax Advisor

He has extensive professional experience in administrative law, particularly in tax law and construction law. He is an attorney registered with the Budapest Bar Association and a registered tax advisor. Thanks to his studies abroad, he speaks English at negotiation level.

She is an attorney specialising in corporate and company law, trust asset management, competition law and commercial law, and assists our clients in these areas as well as in international matters, English-language contracts and debt collection. She has substantial experience in contentious and non-contentious proceedings, primarily liquidation proceedings, and in arbitration. After obtaining her law degree and passing the bar exam, she qualified as a legal translator for English and as a specialist in competition law. She is a member of the UIA (International Association of Lawyers) and the founder and a member of LegallNetwork.

dr. Dorottya Lőrincz LL.M., Attorney-at-Law, Specialist in Financial Law

She obtained her law degree in 2021 and then joined our firm as a trainee lawyer, gaining substantial experience in contentious and non-contentious civil proceedings and providing general legal representation to companies. In 2023 she completed the specialist programme in financial law. Since 2025 she has been with our firm as an attorney, assisting our clients in damages litigation, debt collection and corporate matters.

dr. Dávid Pongrácz, Attorney-at-Law

He obtained his law degree from Széchenyi István University in Győr in 2016. In Győr he also completed the German legal language programme of the German Law Centre and the Austrian legal language programme of the University of Vienna. He regularly works with German-speaking clients. Since 2020 he has been practising as an attorney in Győr in cooperation with our firm. In addition to handling a wide range of contentious and non-contentious civil matters, he specialises in the long-term representation of companies and non-profit organisations. His primary goal is to prevent legal problems, and he favours amicable, cost-effective, fast, efficient and client-friendly solutions.

She obtained her law degree from Széchenyi István University in Győr in 2019. After graduating she worked as a trainee lawyer, gaining broad experience in contentious and non-contentious civil proceedings. In 2022 she completed a postgraduate programme as a lawyer-economist. After passing the bar exam in 2023, she opened her own practice in Győr and works with our firm as a cooperating partner on a daily basis. Her work focuses mainly on contentious and non-contentious civil proceedings and contract drafting. She also has relevant experience in real estate law, including agricultural land contracts, in representing companies and non-profit organisations, and in enforcement law.

dr. Dorottya Fasimon LL.M., Attorney-at-Law, Specialist in Damages and Business Law

She graduated from Pázmány Péter Catholic University in 2014 with a grade point average of 4.5 (on the Hungarian scale, where 5 is the highest grade). She has exceptionally broad experience in civil litigation, focusing on damages, TSZSZ litigation and construction law, and also has relevant experience in corporate law, liquidation, company law and arbitration. She is available to clients in English as well and holds an advanced-level certificate in English legal language. During her studies she spent a semester at Hogeschool Leiden in the Netherlands. After passing the bar exam, she obtained LL.M. degrees as a specialist in business law in 2021 and as a specialist in damages law in 2023.

Viktória Gerber, Intern

She is a fourth-year law student at Pázmány Péter Catholic University. She joined our firm in July 2024, where she is gaining professional experience as an intern. With her advanced German and English language skills, she frequently translates contracts and takes part in preparing company registration procedures and sale and purchase agreements. She also carries out research on various legal issues for the firm, supporting the work of her colleagues.

dr. Mercédesz Ránky, Legal Associate

She obtained her law degree in 2018 and is now in the final year of the real estate transactions specialist programme at the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of Pázmány Péter Catholic University. During her university years she gained practical experience at a law firm headquartered in Asia, where she worked mainly on international corporate and real estate matters. Her work focuses on civil litigation and out-of-court settlements, real estate matters and contracts. She has substantial experience in condominium law and guardianship proceedings.

dr. Oleg Otten

Attorney Oleg Otten received his law degree from the University of Miami School of Law (Florida, USA). His background as an entrepreneur helps him approach legal problems from a business perspective and with a solution-oriented mindset. He primarily serves startups and small and medium-sized businesses in transactions, compliance, contract law, employment law and litigation. A key area of his practice is business relocation to the United States. He is a member of The Florida Bar and the U.S. partner attorney of our law firm.

Toshinori Nippashi

Cooperating attorney (Tokyo, Japan); business relocation to Japan and business law.

Registered and practising attorney in Japan (nippashi.com), working in business law, civil litigation and immigration. He is the president of the International Shiho-shoshi Association, which brings together litigation lawyers practising in Japan. He supports our practice in entry and visa matters, real estate law, and with startups operating in or planning to expand to Japan.

dr. Péter Somkutas

Practice areas: Copyright, software law

In addition to his degrees in law and in mathematics (software engineering), he completed a supplementary master’s programme in Germany. With two decades of IT experience, he leads multinational software development projects. He is a member of the Hungarian Council of Copyright Experts.

dr. Gusztáv Kertész, Cooperating Attorney

Practice area: Criminal proceedings and white-collar crime.

Between 1996 and 2006 he served with the Budapest Police Headquarters (BRFK), among other roles as a senior chief investigator and head of a sub-division. He obtained his law degree from the Faculty of Law of Eötvös Loránd University in 2002. He has been an attorney registered with the Budapest Bar Association since 2007 and currently runs his own law office. He practises exclusively in criminal law, with a particular focus on white-collar crime.
